My cat needs more love. (Don’t we all?)

She’s licking herself raw. Declaring psychological trauma.

The sly owners observed for 13.5 months before concluding:

“The Fat Cat Feels Usurped By The Really Cute Baby With The High Pitched Squeal.”

Then they sat around and ate toast.

“Where’s Elsie—I mean Frannie?” she wondered.

“Good question. Where is Els—I mean Frannie?” he also wondered.

“Elsie—I mean Frannie!” they mutter in chorus.

“Precisely. Precisely,” moans the cat from where she lies. Hiding. “Once I was Frannie. Now I’m Elsie—I mean Frannie. It hurts. So I eat. Excuse me, I smell tuna.”

Cat exits her hidden lair and slips by the half-hearted search team.

She can only hope their guilt will propel them to take out the string. ‘Cause string is fun.

Moral of the story: Everybody needs more love.

  1. I’d be happy to give you a collar that may keep Frannie from licking herself raw, will provide brief amusement and maybe a photo op for you, but won’t solve the love problem.
