You wouldn’t know it from this seemingly idyllic family photo and that seemingly lovely baby in the hot pink hoodie that one hour prior I had declared to everyone who tried to lay a calming hand on my body, “I AM IN A BAD MOOD. I HAVE HAD NO SLEEP.” Thankfully, everyone let me be, and I worked myself out of my anger while flipping peameal bacon. Then Elsie started being really cute, and I forgot about her Mama-Becca-breast-addiction, an addiction that is best served at 2 AM, 4 AM, and 6 AM on the dot. Thank God for amnesia.
