Look! I have a new skill. Well, it’s a little early to call it a ‘skill’…so let’s just say I now have the tools which can and will grow into an aptitude of proportion! That sounds nice. My skill: Photoshop. My instructor: Simon. He’s a good husband, and instead of doing it for me, he insisted I become an empowered wife and learn myself. I have all these women in my life who wouldn’t even question just getting in and learning, but I have this nasty habit of holding back. I think if Simon can do it better, he should be the one! Not a good way to live. In fact, I have recently written out goals for myself which include ‘trying something hard everyday.’ I am whittling away at my perfectionism. Fun times.
Here’s Simon and I facing off on the orchid we bought at the Riverside Farmer’s Market. We bought the orchid in honor of Elsie. “Elsie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come!!!!!!!!!” As you can see, my version is much bolder!
You might remember me mentioning our ‘HypnoBirthing scent‘…well this is it. Pretty sexy bottle, eh? It smells like the beach…and apparently the ants in our apartment LIKE THE BEACH!
My new birthday blouse from my mama. I am hanging it in various places around our apartment—a symbol of my anticipated return to normal sizing!
No weekend is complete without our Farmer’s Market produce. If you must know, I cropped this shot and then altered the hue and saturation. Yes. Daring work.
