We lingered in bed while Byron was waiting patiently at the lab for his mentor! But these are the last days of lingering. And we are relishing falling asleep in each other’s arms without a baby waiting in the wings.

Poor, poor waiting Byron. Little does Byron know he has an enemy—Simon’s wife, doing everything she can to thwart Simon’s efforts out the door. Byron is a summer student who needs DNA help. He also has a fraternity letter branded on his arm, which keeps him from reaching up! For the love of—Simon’s wife is unimpressed with Byron’s frat habits. The boy doesn’t deserve DNA assistance from Hubs. Figure it out, and then get a bandage! Hubs has his own work to do. So there. And don’t think you’re going to date my daughter, Byron. Fraternity boys are definitely off limits.

Now, isn’t that entirely ungracious. Fortunately for Byron, Simon has a much sweeter personality. Pregnancy has made me very selfish. Yeah, pray for me, Eck. Again.

You know, my dear sister, that a letter brand is not a bad thing, depending on the fraternity. It says something about someone’s ability to stick to a process and earn something…to say, “I fought for that hurt!” – not a bad date-potential for Elsie perhaps :)

i will indeed educate myself. my question would be – are all the boys involved in the branding equally informed about why – the symbolism…
