First, a correction. Apparently my pictures of ‘Flora and Fauna in Cali’ did not actually include any fauna. REAL fauna to come…if I can get the freakin’ digital camera to turn on in time.

Second, people keep asking us if we have a nick name for our womb child.

We didn’t until today: introducing “Babycat.”

Simon’s invention.

I think it’s quite cute, particularly in light of him calling me Girlcat and Hotcat—it’s a family thing. Though he tells not to get too attached to either name ’cause they could evolve at any moment. I imagine him catching me in a different light and everything changing…

Third, I mistakenly put the yogurt in the freezer for 24 hours. The organic, expensive maple yogurt. This succeeding preggo move makes me scared. But on second thought, maybe it wanted to sidle up to the mesclun. Makes sense, right?

I could comment on the material (which made me laugh) BUT I think I’m going to comment on the super tight writing of this specific lil’ blog entry. I love it! I’m proud of how you made it so totally in the voices of you and Si – could practically hear you guys speaking…which means it’s real life in writing…which means you’re doing your job! yay!!!
    love you terribly,

Are you still trying to have conversations with secretive neighbours while holding frozen lettuce and yogurt?

As for the baby’s nickname, is too cute. But as Simon says names change. In the future maybe think of the kicking Katey or the Saucy Suzie as she tries to find a comfortable position.

    Blessings.
